An exhibition of 16 recently produced argentine films is going in an international tour stopping in cities such us Havana, Berlin, London, Mexico, Moscow, New York, Prague, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Goa, Mumbai of the Republic of India, reported the agency Telam.
Organized by the association DAC and the General Direction of Cultural matter of Film and Audiovisual arts of the Ministry of Foreign Relations and Services of the Republic of Argentina, the exhibition will be presented from the 7th to the 13th of this month in Havana, in conmemoration of the 200th anniversary of Independence.
From the 23rd to the 30th of September the show will arrive to the Lucerna of Praga theater, while on the 29th and the 30th of October it will be exhibited in the JCR Theater of the St. Catherine’s College of London under the title of A Festival of New Argentine Cinema. The date includes a diverse and representative selection of filmmakers and movies.

During Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th of October, the film showing will be held in the JCR Theatre in St. Catherine’s College, with the title: “A Festival of New Argentine Cinema. With the support of the Argentine Embassy in London and the Travelling Show of Argentine Contemporary Cinema Directors DAC”.
Dr. Benjamin Bollig and Dr. Jordana Blejmar, professors of Oxford University, will present the films and encourage a debate among the attendees.
The Argentine Embassy is managing the logistics and promotion of the event.
The Universities of Warwick and Belfast will also be able to carry out similar activities.
The showing will be offered within the framework of the 6th Week of Argentine Cinema in Havana (6ta SEMANA DE CINE ARGENTINO EN LA HABANA) from the 7th to the 13th of July in the “La Rampa” cinema, commemorating the Bicentenary of Argentina’s Independence.
